Baby that baby...to death
An interesting article I found that lays out the dangers of being too careful with that brand new pride and joy.
This is a subject dear to my heart as I see the anal behavior of the majority of cruiser riders who have to have the "biggest and baddest" bike on the block and never roll the throttle to the stop!

Most scooters have had constantly variable belt drive systems for 30 plus years. Honda and Suzuki had an automatic of sorts in the early 80s

Iridium Sparkplugs
Relatively recent advances in fabrication techniques have enabled the use of Iridium - an incredibly hard precious metal, for the construction of spark plug electrodes. Laser technology is used to weld the Iridium tip to spark plugs

Here's some formulas explaining that phenomonon, but make even me scratch my head, along with really kewl animations which very effectively illustrate the shaking forces...
